Confalt is a competitive alternative to concrete for warehouse floors. It is also suitable for other areas subject to heavy loads, such as aircraft hard standings, road junctions, and container and cargo terminals.
Confalts good fire-resistance properties mean that it can also be used safely in tunnels and other underground sites.
Confalt is a seamless composite pavement that combines the strength of cement-based Confalt mortar with the flexibility of asphalt. The finished pavement is very resistant to both mechanical loading and static point loading. Confalt structures are always designed to meet the requirements of each individual site, thereby ensuring full functionality of the finished pavement. Generally, a 30-100 mm layer of Confalt is laid over a base course of AC, ACBa or soil cement.
